Peanut Butter and Jelly For The Soul

It originally started off as an organization to help feed the homeless- Grand Junction High School’s Peanut Butter and Jelly Club has made even more of mark on the community as they are now partnered with Kids Aid Colorado.

The club kick-started last spring by seniors Donovan Marshall and Luke Aubert. The two say that it started off as just a way to make and deliver food to the homeless all around Grand Junction. It has now turned into a partnership with Kids Aid Colorado which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying kids who are hungry with food. The club recently noticed issues in and around food within their high school and decided to take things one step further.

The students say that they are excited to see how the club will grow and change, and the KIds Aid will continue to stock the pantry at Grand Junction High School for those who are struggling.
