Clifton Man Facing 11 Charges

After facing eleven criminal charges, 40 year old Shaun Crowell is finally facing the inevitable, and local neighbors are to thank for his arrest. According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, all stolen items were recovered after a warrant was obtained for Crowell on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018.
A joint investigation was performed between The Grand Junction Police Department and the Grand Junction Sheriff’s Office. Together, they recovered $28,000 worth of stolen items, not accounting for the $80,000 worth of total items stolen, and $12,000 worth of property damage caused by Crowell all in the Grand Junction area. According to the MCSO, Crowell is facing the following charges: 7 counts of 7 Degree Burglary, Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, Second Degree Criminal Trespass, 2 Counts Possession of Burglary Tools, 2 Counts of Theft, along with 4 others, adding up to a total of 11 charges.
The investigation is still underway while Crowell has been taken into custody, and further investigation will prove what’s next for Crowell.
