Is 2020 the Beginning of WW3?

March 11, 2020

As we all know we have been in a conflict with Iran for years. Tensions are rising once again as Iran fired 15 missiles on Wednesday january 8. The missiles hit the Ain al-Asad Air Base and a military base in Erbil. No U.S troops were harmed during this attack, although Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called it “a slap in the face” to the United States for the drone strike that killed Iranian Quds Force Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Is this enough to get the House’s blood boiling to put a stop to the feud that has been going on for years ? After all arguments have been made from both parties about ending Iran’s thirst for power. Considering president Trump is not too worried about the situation, withdrawing troops and acting upon some tactical come back may be the best decision. Not taking any action to punch back could make Iran think they have the upper hand, afterall Iran called the attack a win for them not considering that 4 of their missiles did not hit a direct target.

Of course, the situation isn’t really a win for Iran at all considering America’s military has the upper hand if they act accordingly. America needs to put what’s best for the people, but when you waste everyone’s time fighting people who will never give in, you start to wonder if carrying this feud on is worth it for anyone in the end. WW3 ? more like complete wipe out in under a week. With all our technology advancements and being against a very underdeveloped country, WW3 will not be like the previous world wars. Don’t fret too much people of 2020, stay well informed and keep doing you.
