Southwest Airlines Expand Flights

Southwest Airlines recently announced that they will be expanding their flights from California to Hawaii and adding three new routes in the inter-island route. Starting in January, Southwest will offer new services from California to Kauai and the Big Island as well as daily flights from Sacramento to Honolulu.

It is reported that flights from California to Hawaii will be offered at as low as $99 a ticket, according to USA Today. However, these flights will only be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and seat space is very limited, so it is crucial to book flights way in advance.

When Southwest originally came out with the new flights, they sold tickets for as low as $59 however, there were very few of these seats and they sold out very quickly. USA Today says that the average seat sold in busy travel times will be sold for around $189 a ticket.
