Games to Play During Quarantine to Stay Connected

Makenna Mason, Reporter

Being forced to stay isn’t fun, ESPECIALLY if you’re an extrovert like me. I always want to be around my friends but with a stay at home order lasting until the end of April, interacting with them in person will be lowered to a minimum. But what can you do to stay connected? Well here’s some games you can play with your friends on your phone.

Clash of Clans

If you can create a clan with five or more friends and fight against other clans. Hence the name Clash of Clans. It’s free to download on IOS and Google Play. I’ve been playing this a lot and it’s been a lot of fun. I used to play it when I was younger. Great for killing time! You can play on your own and team up later.

Uno!

It’s the classic game of Uno just on your phone! You can play Uno as a free downloadable game on your mobile phone or computer. You can buy Uno on your Xbox or Playstation for $4.99. Just share your player ID and you can play with up to 6 players. My friends and I played Uno all the time during school at lunch. We have yet to play it together on our phones but we all have it downloaded!

Words With Friends 2

Connect with friends with Facebook and download for free on IOS or Google

Play. Show off your vocabulary and play against friends! I remember playing this when I was younger with my mom and I might have to start again.

Draw Something

Play Pictionary on your phone at your own pace. You can download the classic

version for free on IOS and Google Play and play with friends! I also played this game with my mom and brother and it was a lot of fun. I’m going to get my friends into it as well!

Snapchat games

Snapchat has their own games similar to Game Pigeon play with your group chat.

Snapchat is free to download on IOS and Google Play. This is how me and my friends started quarantine and I’m going to have to challenge them to Subway Rider again!
