“Since school has been moved to remote learning, I’ve been spending more time with my family and enjoy regulating my schedule to my liking. I’ve taken up some crafts such as painting jars, I’ve organized everything, and even fancied a five mile run with my mom. I’d be lying if I said my addiction to YouTube didn’t increase exponentially. This has been a time to really take charge,if I want to get something done I need to do it on my own. There’s no more motivation to do things based on the fear that I would hold back group work at school. It’s hard to force myself to do my work when I won’t have to confront people on a regular basis. I enjoy that I can take courses at my own pace, but there’s that self discipline to get things done and do work in classes that aren;t your favorite. I’m not really that upset about school turning into working at home, I like having the new perspective and experience, it feels like this is a taste of how life is. If you want to go somewhere you have to make your way there. Not solely relying on the help of others, but making your mark and step by step getting closer to where you want to be.”
