Amidst the worldwide pandemic it’s easy to get discouraged when constantly being reminded of the thousands that lay ill and have the possibility of leaving this world. Jazzy Brandon, a junior, at Fruita Monument is choosing to look at all the chaos with a hopeful heart and an open mind. “During this quarantine, I’ve been able to spend more time with my family and spend more time in the beautiful outdoors! Schoolwork has kept me busy most of the day but when I’m not working on assignments I get to spend more time doing things I usually wouldn’t such as painting, hiking, biking, and cleaning. The situation came at a hard time, especially for the seniors, but I’m hopeful this isn’t forever and things will go back to normal soon.”
