Senior year is something that every teenager looks forward to. From games, dances, assemblies all leading to the moment where you are able to walk across the big stage to receive a diploma for all your hard work. Each moment marks a milestone in a teenagers life. Katelyn Johnson, a senior at Fruita Monument commented on how her life has changed during these recent circumstances. “Once the stay at home law became a thing in Colorado, I was sad and shocked. So many things I was looking forward to were taken from me and seniors around the world which of course was hard to take in but, as with everything, I’ve adapted. I’ve created a routine for myself filled with  a lot of time outdoors tanning and hiking. I’ve also been able to read on my own more. I am currently reading “The woman in the window’’ which I’ve loved so far. Creating a routine for myself has helped me in times where I feel sad and discouraged.”
