Minnesota family had a scare when their child was found face down in water outside their house. The authorities were alerted by a woman sending in a report of a toddler in water.
According to KJCT, “The woman told first responders she was outside with her three kids when she realized her young son was no longer by her side. The woman says she found the boy floating face down in water behind an old barn on their property.”
The area the child was found in had been dry but since recent rainfall, a small pond has formed. The pond had been measured as deep as 4 ½ feet deep when the boy was found face down.
No other information has been released but there are several questions about how long the boy was in the water and how long it took for his family to realize that he had been missing.
According to Healthline “The lungs become heavy, and oxygen stops being delivered to the heart. Without the supply of oxygen, the body shuts down.”
The boy was found conscious and had life-saving measures performed. He was transported to the nearest hospital but reports about his condition have not been released.
