Why do people like holidays? Because they are fun, and because there should be a time when everyone should get a day off to just hang out with friends or family. These holidays are all a big part of our lives, but what is the most common favorite holiday or what’s the least favorite?
According to visual capitalist Most people like Christmas with a close runner up of Thanksgiving then Halloween. These holidays are known worldwide now. Some celebrate these things very very differently and that everyone at last knows of the holidays. There’s also things like Hanukkah and St.patricks day but according to wide interviews conducted the average student at FMHS enjoys Halloween.
But according to some interviews that have been conducted, we have different results. A lot of people still like Christmas like Adam Jones; he says that it’s one of his favorite holidays due to it being a good time of year with everyone hanging out with family and getting presents.
Or someone like Kristie Smonson who teaches math says that she enjoys Christmas because of the ambiance and because her birthday is right after.
Now onto people’s least favorite holidays. One of these is Super Bowl Sunday according to Adam Jones this is because he never gets the Monday after off! That’s a joke, but really people also say that things like this are hard to come by because of how common random holidays are, so you might be saying that it would be unfair to do that because then everyone would have to acknowledge all the small holidays. This could become a problem because of how many there are that’s why we have main holidays like Christmas halloween thanksgiving and Valentine’s day these holidays are big parts of everyone lives and childhoods if everyone went and made companies or schools take acknowledge to every small holiday then they would never be working that why we have dedicated big holidays among other things.
