There are so many cool places that Colorado has to offer in the winter time that you can enjoy with friends and family. Here are just a few of the places.
First, Skate In the park is located in downtown Colorado Springs. Skate in the park consists of an outdoor ice rink surrounded by Christmas decorations. This would be a very exciting place to go to since we don’t have that here. “Ice skating is very fun and a nice bonding experience.” Emma Grace.
Second, Absolute Prestige limousine rides are located here in Loma. This is such a fun and very laid back experience. You get to ride in a nice comfy limo and look at Christmas lights. It can be a little pricey depending on the day and time you book. This would be such a fun experience for a group of friends or even family. “Their Christmas lights tour is the best.” Karsyn Renfro.
Third, if you like to snowboard, ski, or go sledding, go to Powderhorn, located on the Grand Mesa. If you’ve never been before they offer a lot of classes to help teach people or you can just go sledding because that’s more of a fun type thing that you don’t really need any skill for. You can also stay up at Powderhorn. They have tiny homes or campsites, but you don’t necessarily have to stay up there since it is very close. “Skiing is one of my favorite things to do and Powderhorn is the best place to go for it!” Isabella Gonzalez.
Last, The North Pole Santa’s workshop is located in Cascade, Colorado Springs. This place is a vintage amusement park and is open October 31st through December 24th. You can visit with Santa, shop in the little village, have delicious food, and enjoy the rides. This Colorado Springs North Pole has been spreading Christmas cheer since 1956. “I haven’t been here before but this seems like such a cool place.” Mya Lara.
These are all of the places that can get you in the Christmas spirit. Consider checking these places out, you won’t regret it.
