Want to participate in an outhouse race? Well, you can have a chance to do that this year at The Fruita Fall Festival.
The Fruita Fall Festival takes place once a year and draws a huge crowd of people every time! This festival is a staple in the Fruita community. They have so many events that go on. You can enjoy food, fun, and music while spending time with friends and family.
This year, the festival will be on the 26th and 27th of September. Some of the many events that you can participate in this year are a pet show, a canning contest, a history fair, a cornhole tournament, and even an outhouse race!
On Friday the 26th, the festival will begin! The booths open at 3 PM in downtown Fruita. Starting at five PM until 10 PM, there will be live music on the Civic Center stage! The music will consist of Anthony Mainerio, Schaffer Brother Band, and The Lost Junction Band. The festival will end at 10 PM for the night.
On Saturday, the festival will start again at 7:30 AM with a pancake breakfast in front of the Fruita Thrift Shop. From 8 AM all the way until noon, there will be concerts and events for people to take part in or even just watch! After all of the fun events are over, the live music will start up again at around 1:30 PM. There will be several different bands. A band for every person’s taste in music! The festival will come to an end at 10:00 PM, and everything will be shut down and cleaned up.
The Fruita Fall Festival is a huge hit every year. You can even sign up to be a vendor at this festival, or just enjoy the outside time with your family.
