Armored with a thick heart

A valiant beast of beauty

She leaves behind a legacy

Of smiles and sincerity

She provides an ear to the

Plights of friend or foe

Because we owe our beef

A resolution

A last hurrah

So cheers to an open ear

And an open heart

Love thy neighbor

Even if it’s the grumpy old man who

Yells at you to stay off their lawn

Because empathy is everything

And our mortality, seeks morality
