This Facebook Marketplace find turned out to be a lot more than just a freezer. CBS says that this happened on Friday the 12th at a home on the 2900 block of Pinyon Avenue in Grand Junction.¨ The home was recently sold to the new homeowners listed as ¨as is¨. So they bought a home with a whole bunch of stuff still in it. They decided to start selling everything to eventually get to renovating the house. They posted a freezer that was on their property trying to sell.
During the second week of the new year a local went to go and buy the used freezer. They opened it up and found a black bag. The bag was opened and then a human head fell out onto the lawn. The homeowners then called the local authorities. As they investigated they proceeded to go through the whole house finding more. A discovery was made involving a set of human hands.
As of now, they are going through the whole house to see if there are more parts. They are trying to figure out the whole story of who did this and what happened. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said in a new report ¨this incident will be described as a homicide. Right now the officials are testing the parts to find who they are. They have only said that they are doing tests and not specifically which ones. The officials did say that the tests they are doing will take a lot of time. As of now they are still investigating and testing.
