Coachella (officially the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival) is one of the world’s largest, most famous annual music and arts festivals. Founded in 1999, and held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, it features a massive, diverse lineup of rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic artists across two consecutive weekends in April.
The event has two weekends where fans can see their favorite artists. Coachella isn’t just popular because of the music artists but because of the influencers that are invited and make content to promote brands that invited them, and even just the festival itself. When coachella rolls around influencers make their “get ready with me for coachella” videos or their “travel with me to coachella” and even vlogs of them at coachella.
Weekend 1:
Headliners for Coachella weekend one were Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. Performing on Friday, April 10, Sabrina Carpenter who brought out Madonna to perform “Bring Your Love”, Teddy Swims, The xx Anyma, and Record Safari.
Saturday, April 11, Justin Bieber headlined with a set that included appearances by Wizkid, Tems, and The Laroi. Other performances included The Strokes, Giveon, Addison Rae, Jaqck Glam.
Sunday, April 12, Karol G featured Becky G to perform “MAMII”, Young Thug, Major Lazer, Wet Leg, Tijuana Panthers.
Post Malone and Billie Eillish appeared as special guests. Other performers included BINI, Travis Barker, Camila Cabello, and Noah Cyrus.

Weekend 2:
Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Karol G also headlined for weekend two.
Performances on Friday, April 17, were by Sabrina Carpenter with a featured guests of Madonna, Anyma with Blackpink member lisa, Matt Bellamy, and Swae Lee. CMAT, Katseye, Teddy Swims, and Foster the People.
Saturday, April 18, Justin Bieber with Billie Eilish, SZA, Sexxy Red, and Big Sean. The Strokes, Addison Rae with Olivia Rodrigo, Sombr with Billy Idol, PinkPantheress, Young Thug.
Sunday, April 19, Karol G closed the festival, bringing out guests Peso Pluma and J Balvin. Other performers included Major Lazer, FKA Twigs, Little Simz, and Bebe Rexha.
Weekend one is where most of the influencers are found. This can make weekend two more of a “real” crowd rather than just influencers. From this most fans say the crowd is more lively and fun.

Carpenter brought out Madonna during her Friday night headlining set. After her performance, Italian EDM star Anyma got a second chance at “Æden” after strong winds canceled the world premiere of the set last week, bringing out Lisa from Blackpink and Muse’s Matt Bellamy.
There were more surprises on Saturday, including Olivia Rodrigo joining Addison Rae singing Rodrigo’s new single “Drop Dead” and Billy Idol and Steve Stevens jumping on stage with Sombr for “Eyes Without a Face.” Justin Bieber brought out a whole cast of stars on Saturday night, including Billie Eilish and SZA.”
