Pink. The color pink is a popular one. Associated with Barbie, Valentine’s Day, bows, and many other things, pink is arguably every 6-year-old girl’s favorite color. It is also my favorite color when it is the color of a delicious box of Crumbl cookies.
That’s right pink is also associated with the worldwide cookie company Crumbl. Crumbl, which started in 2017, now has over 800 stores including one in Grand Junction. Their cookies are the perfect sweet treat for celebrations, birthdays, or even just a pick-me-up. Not only that, but each week there are 6 cookies to choose from. A classic chocolate chip cookie, most of the time a sugar cookie, and the other four flavors rotate each week. The variety makes the Crumbl experience different each time and always enjoyable. People love to rank the flavors of the week and give their opinions on which to buy and which to pass. I am not a Crumbl connoisseur, but I do love Crumbl and have had my fair share of cookies. I like to rank the cookies myself, so here is my top 10.
- Aggie Blue Mint Cookie
Crumbl backstory time! Crumbl was started in Logan, Utah, which is where Utah State University is located. The university is famous for its Aggie Blue Mint ice cream, which is a delicious blue mint ice cream with Oreo cookies mixed in. This cookie pays homage to the ice cream, with its Oreo cookie base and creamy mint frosting with a hint of Oreo as well, this cookie is perfection. The only downside is that it is usually only on the menu during Crumbl’s yearly anniversaries, so a lot of the world has missed out on this amazing cookie, that I consider to be Crumbl’s best.
- Salted Caramel Cheesecake
I love cream cheese, which is probably why this one is number 2. But it’s a graham cracker-based cookie with cream cheese frosting and then salted caramel on top, is the greatest combination. It’s sweet, but not too rich as the salted caramel adds some excitement making it seriously to die for.
- Snickerdoodle Cupcake
Warm Snickerdoodle cookies always taste so comforting. That might be a weird way to describe it, but biting into a warm, sugary cookie that melts into your mouth, is immediate comfort. This Crumbl cookie takes that and adds a delicious vanilla cupcake frosting on top. It’s the combination I never knew I needed, so it’s number 3.
- Red Velvet Cupcake
I love red velvet anything. This is a delectable red velvet cookie topped with cream cheese frosting, so it’s number 4.
- Chocolate Chip Cookie
Chocolate chip cookies are a classic and I’m a sucker for them. They’re my comfort food after I lose a basketball game, my pick-me-up when I have a bad race, and my favorite game night snack. Crumbl has perfected this classic type of cookie and while some might call it basic, sometimes basic is the way to go.
- S’mores
I believe this one is so good, because of the memories s’mores always bring up. Camping is always highlighted by one thing for me, s’mores. This cookie tastes just like that campfire treat with its graham cracker cookie, with chocolate chips, and toasted marshmallow accents. It’s delightful, but not delightful enough to reach my top 5, so it’s 6th, respectively.
- Caramel Apple
I remember the first time I had this one. It was the week of Halloween and I was in Utah with my family. As we cut the cookie up and tried it, we all agreed that it was one of our favorites. Ever. The warm apple slices coated in caramel and topped with streusel taste just like a mini caramel apple pie. But, you have to be in a particular mood for this cookie, which is why it’s 7th.
- Cookie Butter Lava feat. Biscoff (also known as Biscoff Lava)
If you have ever been on an airplane, there is always that anticipated time when the flight attendant asks if you want a snack. The cookies are always one of the best options as they’re always Biscoff cookies. This Crumbl cookie is a cookie with Biscoff cookies mixed in and Biscoff cookie butter oozing throughout. Literal heaven.
- Birthday Cake
Birthday cake is just a classic. This Crumbl birthday cake twist with the birthday cake cookie base and cream cheese frosting is just too good.
- Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffin
Please don’t hate me. This might be the most controversial option yet but don’t knock it until you try it. It is a warm, gooey, chocolate chip cookie with the added texture of oatmeal and it is divine.
Honorable Mentions
Pumpkin Cheesecake
A Halloween classic. The pumpkin cookie with cream cheese frosting is quite enjoyable, but in my opinion, since pumpkin is only really enjoyable in the fall, it failed to make the top 10.
Brownie Batter
Although I’ve never had this cookie, several people told me it had to make the list. One Brownie Batter Cookie lover, Fruita Junior Sophia Weathers stated, “It tastes more like brownie batter than regular brownie batter. You eat it and you’re taken back to when you bake brownies with your grandma and she lets you lick the brownie batter off the spatula.”
But to be honest, no one will ever turn down a Crumbl cookie. Even if one of these ten flavors isn’t up on the weekly menu, Crumbl is always a valid option. If you haven’t gone to Crumbl in a while, this is your sign. Treat yourself to these melt-in-your-mouth cookies and the cute pink box that comes with it. Then, you let me know your top ten.
